Author Larry Hoffeditz uses his degrees in Natural Science, Behavioral Science, and Biblical Education teaching science courses in urban, rural, private, and inner-city high schools for 25 years. The courses taught include Chemistry, Biology, Marine Science, Physical Science, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Material Science and Technology, and Physics. He also was a professor at Florida Bible College. Teaching Bible studies at his church, and The Source homeless ministry are part of his weekly schedule. He has worked in a wide variety of medical facilities including, hospitals, nursing homes, pharmacies, and nuclear pharmaceutical and chemical facilities.
He is a published author in Focus on the Family publications and EA Publisher’s Anchor in the Storm, Volumes 1 and 2. Larry is on staff at the annual Florida Christian Writers Conference where he has attended for many years. He also assists at The Well Christian Writers Conference in Grand Rapids, MI, and is a Word Weavers critique group member.
He is a driver and employment specialist for RISE, an organization that provides daily training programs and activities for disabled clients. Larry and his beautiful Filipino wife, Joyce, reside in Vero Beach, FL. They are actively involved in their church ministries. They facilitate a Joy Group and volunteer for MFI (Missionary Flights), CareNet crisis pregnancy, Safe Families, The Source, and Florida Disaster Relief.
They love to fish and crab, kayak, go thrifting, and do gardening. They sell their crafts at local shows. Both were former high school science teachers for more than 20 years.
Five grandkids, two sons and their wives, and Sheba, their Alaskan Malamute dog, complete this blessed family. Pictures are available on request.
